I'm a bit of a fabric addict. I love patterns, colors, textures and can't help myself. I know a lot of you ladies out there know exactly what I am talking about! I bought it because I can't resist having another piece of prettiness to add to my stash. Even though it's not purchased for a specific project, it's just to add to the collection of other pieces I couldn't resist. The "someday" collection. So, it goes with my paintings. I like to add fabric to soften things and include more design elements with it draping around the objects, it adds to a still life. Then of course I'm challenged with painting the intricate design patterns and shadows, and me asking why I kept torturing myself with such detailed work.

I result is always worth it!
